Among Indian electric scooter landscape — where some brands run after the ultimate performance, others makes concessions towards practicality —InEVitable TVS iQube Electric is an ideal commuting solution that balances everything well. Not just another EV with fancy baubles, it is a craftbuilt scooter aimed at how to ride in the city efficiently, comfortably and smartly with no superfluous junk.
First Impressions: Clean, Fast and Righteously Uberbajan
At a glance, the iQube is hard to miss due to its ultra-minimalist futurist design. It completes with a premium, hide-in-silk look that has clean lines, full LED lighting (the LED taillamps are a properly cute) and no chrome. iQube surprised me, being an EV very iBare bones into execution (compared to some other futuristic EVs that are so Tri-Pointey) as well a scooter design wise that you could ride around daily without wanting to leave your desk every morning.
It is for sure city ergonomics. Seat is wide and well cushioned, floorboard large, handlebar is set you need an upright posture in traffic to be able to stop & go. Even the mirrors were of good height for rear vision.
Powertrain Silky, Silent and City Perfect
Muffin 4.4 kW hub motor that provides 140 Nm torque (optional 220Nm version are also available) which means instant acceleration at the stand still—this is exactly what you want when weaving through traffic. The iQ cube is in the same class as high-strung electric scooters that pull your rear with a vengeance — it uses feel closing linearity, meaning it never shot on congested streets.

The top speed is only limited to 78 km/h, which is more than enough in urban driving. You have confidence at the scooter when speed 50-60 km/h not shook with your body, no vibrations overwhelming this. With three riding modes (Eco, Power and Sport) you can adjust performance to your demands —Eco for more range, as Sport gives you a better acceleration.
Battery & Range: Good for Daily Commutes
with a 3.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, claimed range of 100 km (real-world 70-80km in mixed conditions) The EPA says this is just okay for city systems that are ridden for ~30-40km every day. Four to five hours (4-5 hours) to charge from empty via a standard 15A socket, TVS also has fast-charging stations in some cities.
Relevant is the placement of battery below floor-board which lowers the center of gravity, improving road holding. The iQube still gives you 17 litres of storage under the seat which is not too shabby for gear, and a helmet (compared to some other competitors who try to shove more battery in there).
Performance and ride is terrain-breezeable Comfortable Enough
TVS did a good job of this setup (Suspension). The telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks deal with bumps so well that even the city roads with lots of potholes seem okay. The ride is so much improved by the use of big 12-inch wheels (versus my other rivals who all use 10-inch rims) at higher speed.
Braking is protected by a front disc rear drum brakes and takes care of some aspects by regenerative braking. There is nice feeling on the brakes, combined braking (CBS) also works well for a balanced stop.
Features & Tech; Smart, but Not All At Once.
The iQube isn’t only about transport—it speaks the language of smart connectivity. Key features
5 inch TFT : Dash has connectivity similar to a smartphone ( Navigation- call alert, ride stats also available via VRVIZ APP)
- Integrating Bluetooth keyless start
- Geo-fencing and theft alerts
- OTA updates for software updates that will come after
Reverse mode : To park the scooter easetrly
It is well-kennel, not clutzy as some of the other patio scooters I have ridden. The sun was actually brilliant, the display can be read clear on even the brightest days; again something little but important that many forget.
TVS’s Reliably Trusted Backing of Ownership Experience
The big level of service across TVS service network deliver you with peace of mind also, iQube use that 2 wheeler laptop expertise backed by decades of service. Minor maintenance (none oil changes, no clutch rebuilds) just following along brakes and tires for wear-wise.
Judgement: The Best Electric Urban Scooter in Town
The TVS iQube Electric, for example, they are not in the market to do a quarter-miler, range king, or chic EV per se. It is more designed to *provide a nice, smooth the hell out of it city motorcycle* for urban commuters. More comfortable, more keenly efficient, more comprehensively built and with the right tech package, **without a lot of fat to get on four.
Best Choice in its segment for people moving from petrol to electric keeping practicality aside, iQube is one it awakens one of the good choice for iQube. And that an EV can be great if it just function flawlessly in regular real-world scenarios.
With the market all but drowning in EVs that over-promise… the TVS iQube is one EV that sticks out for underpromising and over-delivering, so it remains one of the smartest electric scooters from cities in India today.
